TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT
Cookies
This policy explains the use of cookies, local and session storage, and similar technologies on the hwp.si website. Information about the processing of personal data is available in the Privacy Notice.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage, session storage and other technical identifiers can serve a similar purpose. They may be used to make the site work, for security, to remember your choices, or — if the controller introduces them — for analytics and marketing.
Strictly necessary technologies may be used without consent when they are genuinely required to transmit a communication or to provide a service the user has explicitly requested. Analytics, marketing and other optional technologies must not be activated before valid consent has been given.
2. Current use on hwp.si
The website uses strictly necessary technologies for WordPress to function, for security, for caching, and to store your choice in Complianz. The Manrope and Inter typefaces are hosted locally, so displaying them does not require a connection to Google Fonts.
HWP does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, Hotjar, external maps, external videos, or social media plug-ins. Hostinger Reach is disconnected from the hwp.si domain and is not used to collect contacts or for marketing tracking.
If only strictly necessary technologies are active, the consent banner may not be shown. This is expected, as consent is not required for strictly necessary storage.
3. Inventory of storage in use and conditional storage
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration | Type and scope |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_policy_id, cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics, cmplz_marketing, cmplz_banner-status | Complianz / HWP | Stores the user's choice, the policy version and the banner state. Only the entries required by the Complianz configuration in use are created. | Strictly necessary | 365 days | First-party cookies |
wpEmojiSettingsSupports | WordPress / HWP | Checks emoji character support so WordPress displays content correctly. | Strictly necessary | Session | Browser session storage, first party |
_lscache_vary | LiteSpeed / HWP | Prevents the wrong cached version of the page from being shown and distinguishes login state. | Strictly necessary | Up to 2 days | First-party cookie; conditional |
wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wp-settings-*, wp-settings-time-*, wp_lang | WordPress / HWP | Checks cookie support, secures login, and stores the language and settings of the logged-in user. | Strictly necessary | Session or persistent, depending on type | First party; only when logging in or using the admin area |
elementor | Elementor / HWP | Stores page-editor actions and settings. | Strictly necessary | Persistent | Local storage; editors only, when logged in |
wfwaf-authcookie-*, wf_loginalerted_*, wfls-remembered-*, wfCBLBypass | Wordfence / HWP | Firewall, login security, login alerts, remembering two-factor login, or an approved security bypass. | Strictly necessary | Depends on the feature used; 2FA memory for up to 30 days | First party; only when logging in or triggering a specific security feature |
Names marked with * contain a variable part. A typical visitor who is not logged in will usually only encounter Complianz storage, emoji support, and possibly functional cache storage.
FluentSMTP, OMGF, UpdraftPlus, Code Snippets and other administrative tools do not, by themselves, set cookies for a typical visitor. If their functions or configuration change, this inventory is reviewed again and updated accordingly.
4. Setting categories
Strictly necessary
Required for security, session management, the contact form to work, caching, or storing the user's choice. This category cannot be switched off through the site's settings.
Analytics
Measuring site usage that is not exempt from consent. HWP does not use analytics technologies in its current configuration.
Marketing and embedded content
Advertising technologies, external videos, maps and other embeds that can pass data to third parties. HWP does not currently use these.
5. Managing and changing your choice
You can change or withdraw your choice about optional technologies at any time. Withdrawing consent must be as simple as giving it. A change does not affect the lawfulness of using the technologies before the withdrawal.
6. Review and updates
This inventory is reviewed again after any change to the theme, Elementor, Complianz, plugins, forms, fonts, the CDN, or embedded content. The review is carried out in a logged-out private browsing window before any choice is made, after rejection, after any partial choice, after acceptance, and after withdrawal.
If HWP introduces an analytics, marketing or other optional technology, it will be technically blocked before the relevant consent is given, and this policy will be updated with its name, provider, purpose, category, duration and type of storage.
